VBG offers two levels of Seasonal Skills Training. "Skills & Drills" and "Extreme Skills & Drills" are two of our most effective programs where players have the opportunity to sharpen their skills. Taining runs for the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer seasons. Players really have the opportunity to improve their skills from season to season, but most importantly work on the skills they had challenges with any previous seasons.
The "Skills & Drills" program focuses on conditioning and repetition work. The average player takes around 5-10 shots per game. This means the shots they attempt require them to be very focused. This is where Skills and Drills provides the mental focus and confidence a player needs through the amount of reps taken within a "Skills and Drills" session.
The second training option is our new "Extreme Skills & Drills" sessions where skills and drills are taken to the next level. These sessions consist of repetition and conditioning combined on each drill. The athletes will be challenged physically, but most importantly mentally, where their basketball IQ will improve. Athletes will have the ability to understand the type of effort and attitude needed to out play an opponent.
